The Gaza Health Ministry says hospitals in the Gaza Strip have only two days before they run out of key fuel supplies.
The warning comes after the World Health Organization expressed grave concern about medical facilities in the Gaza Strip. The W-H-O warned it’s getting harder and harder to send aid into the blockaded Palestinian territory. Hospitals in Gaza need the fuel to keep their power generators running. The generators provide electricity for their key services. The UN’s humanitarian coordinator for Gaza also earlier said delivery of critical aid, including food, water and fuel, across Gaza is grinding to a halt. The official said Israel has been barring commercial import into the territory for six weeks while aid convoys have been subject to armed looting.
