Palestinians took to the streets across the occupied West Bank to commemorate decades of ethnic cleansing of their homeland by Zionist militias, when an estimated 700,000 Palestinians were expelled from their homes and villages in 1948, to make way for new Jewish immigrants to create what is known today as Israel.
