Zelensky urges E.U. to send weapons faster as Russians close grip on Bakhmut

Ukraine’s President, Volodymyr Zelensky, urged the EU to accelerate its arms supply to Kiev. Zelensky also said Kiev will not surrender Bakhmut and will fight as long as it can. This comes as Kiev’s Western allies pledge more weapons, mainly sophisticated and long range arms, to Ukraine. Russia has repeatedly warned the West’s military support for Ukraine will only prolong the war and increase the suffering of its people. This as Russia ramps up pressure on Ukrainian forces in eastern battlegrounds and also in the northeast and south.
