Iranians have ended two weeks of New Year holidays referred to as Nowruz, celebrating the ancient tradition of Sizdah Bedar or Nature Day by spending some quality time with their loved ones outdoors. However, this year the annual family picnic required some adjustments as it coincided with the holy month of Ramadan.
