Crowds of Yemenis have taken to the streets of several provinces across the country to celebrate Eid al-Ghadir, which marks the anniversary of the day when Prophet Muhammad named his cousin and son-in-law, Ali ibn Abi Talib, as his successor and the leader of Muslims.
