Life came to a standstill in the occupied West Bank as a general strike was observed in line with the international call for a global strike in protest against Israel’s genocide in the Gaza Strip. The Israeli onslaught on the territory has so far claimed the lives of more than 18,200 people, the majority of them women and children.
