A US service member has set himself on fire outside the Israeli embassy in Washington DC, in protest against 143 days of the regime’s genocide in the Gaza Strip. Viewer discretion is advised on the following images.

The video of the incident was posted on an American video-streaming service. The incident lasted about a minute before law enforcement officers extinguished the flames. The man was an active-duty member of the U-S air force. He is reportedly in critical condition. This is the second incident of its kind outside an Israeli facility in the U-S, since the start of the Israeli genocide in Gaza. Last week, the United States used it veto power for a third time to block a U-N resolution, calling for an immediate cease-fire in the Gaza Strip.
