Italy has warned about the repercussions of attacks on Ukraine’s Zaporizhzhya nuclear power plant, saying the risk of creating a “new Chernobyl” must be averted.
The remarks came after several drone strikes hit the Russian-held plant and despite the fact that Italy has been supplying the government in Kiev with several military aid packages.
