At least fifty more Palestinian children are confirmed to be suffering from acute malnutrition as Israel continues to block the delivery of lifesaving humanitarian aid into Gaza.
Medical sources say they have counted fifty malnourished children in northern Gaza where food shortages are most acute. They say the number is likely to go up as the entire Gaza population is bracing for famine amid the closure of all the crossings into the besieged territory. Meanwhile, the United Nations World Food Programme said, nine out of 10 children in Gaza are suffering from acute malnutrition. Separately, the United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF) said at least 23 children have already died of malnutrition, confirming reports that Israel is using starvation as a weapon of war.
