The Palestinian resistance movement Hamas says the group, along with other Palestinian factions, has signed an agreement aimed at national unity.
Abu Marzuk made the comments on a visit to China. Representatives of 14 Palestinian factions, including Fatah, Hamas, the Palestinian Islamic Jihad, the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine and, the Democratic Front for the Liberation of Palestine are among those who signed the agreement. The deal calls for unifying national efforts to confront the Israeli aggression and stop the regime’s genocidal war on Gaza. It also stresses a commitment to the establishment of an independent Palestinian state with al-Quds as its capital. The accord underlines the Palestinian people's right to resist and end the Israeli occupation. China, which hosted Palestinian groups, has hailed the agreement and called on the international community to support the Palestinian reconciliation.
