In a strong show of unity and sympathy with Palestinians, thousands of Pakistanis gathered across the country to condemn the recent assassination of Hamas' Political Bureau Chief Ismail Haniyeh. Activists from the largest religio-political party, the Society of Islam, along with other individuals blamed the assassination on the Israeli regime and condemned it for its war crimes in the Gaza Strip.
