Uncertain fate of Gaza ceasfire deal

PressTV 9 views

A long overdue ceasefire has come into effect for the genocide in Gaza, not the first of its kind, but hopefully the last. Yet upon close examination at two important factors, one the ambiguity of the ceasefire text and terms, coupled with the track record of the Isreali regime in previous and current ceasefires, tells us there is room for concern. US president Donald Trumps so-called 20 point plan appears to lack details and in some cases is vague and ambiguous - perhaps on purpose. Isreali occupation withdrawal from Gaza, the future governing body of the strip, who is allowed in to rebuild and reconstruct Gaza, and the fate of Gazas security while demanding resistance disarm, are just a few points that can lead to impasse at the very least.
