Thousands of protesters have marched in Minneapolis, Minnesota demanding justice for slain African-American George Floyd and others killed by US police. The protesters gathered for the “I Can’t Breathe” silent rally in the city ahead of the criminal trial of former Minneapolis white police officer, Derek Chauvin, charged with murder in Floyd’s death.
