The debate over the policing of a London vigil on March 13 for Sarah Everard, a 33-year-old women allegedly kidnapped and murdered by a serving British police officer earlier this month is ongoing.

What had been a peaceful and respectful demonstration of female solidarity turned ugly. Police moved in -- pushing and shoving the demonstrators -- and took away some of the women in handcuffs.
