Brazilian health officials have registered nearly 2,000 new deaths from COVID-19 as the pandemic continues to wreak havoc across the South American nation. The Latin American country which has the highest daily death toll in the world has so far recorded more than 330,000 fatalities. Coronavirus cases in Brazil also rose by over 43,000 bringing the total to nearly 13 million.
