Report: Israeli spyware used to target journalists, activists

Israeli spyware has been used to spy on human rights activists and journalists worldwide. It has also targeted the phones of French, Iraqi, and Moroccan leaders, among others. The obvious question is whether this was done with the knowledge of Israeli authorities or not. In this edition of the Spotlight, we will look at how this spying software was used by dictatorial regimes like the UAE and Saudi Arabia, whose crown prince used it to spy on slain dissident journalist Jamal Khashoggi.
