Sources say the attack on an Israeli-owned ship off Oman was carried out in retaliation for a recent raid by the Tel Aviv regime in Syria. Resistance sources told Iran’s al-Alam news network that the attack on the ship was in response to the Israeli strike on an airport in Syria’s western Qusayr region. The Israeli attack had killed two resistance forces. According to the British military, the Israeli vessel was targeted near Masirah Island late on Thursday. It said the attack that left two crew members dead was not an act of piracy, adding an investigation is underway. The United States military says a drone was used to target the vessel. The US and Israel have blamed the attack on Tehran, which has made no official comment on the accusation, yet.
