New lava river destroys everything in its path in La Palma

Footage shows the advance of the new lava flows from the Cumbre Vieja volcano on the Canary Island of La Palma. Involcan, the Volcanological Institute of the Canary Islands, confirmed the appearance of a new emission center south of the main cone. The new lava flow is advancing at a speed of 600 m/h, sweeping everything in its path. The spectacular images show the lava river engulfing trees and setting palm trees ablaze.
