Every year, millions of ardent lovers, most of them Iranians, in a demonstration of unfathomable love and devotion for their beloved Imam Hussain(AS) and his companions, who sacrificed their lives more than 1400 years ago in Karbala city in Iraq for the sake of Islam, walk seamlessly and untiringly from one sacred town to another, day and night, braving inclement weather.
