Thousands of Palestinians have attended a funeral procession of a teenager killed by Israeli forces in the occupied West Bank city of Bethlehem.
Palestinians also went on a strike in Bethlehem to mourn 14-year-old Mohammad Shehadeh. Schools and universities were closed, as well. On Tuesday, the teenager was fatally shot in the town of al-Khader by Israeli soldiers who were conducting a raid in the area. The killing provoked angry reactions from resistance movements. Hamas said the killing is the manifestation of the regime’s brutality against innocent people. Also, the Palestinian Foreign Ministry called on international bodies to investigate the crimes being committed by the regime’s forces and settlers.
