The dead bodies that were scattered in Bucha in Ukraine are a sight of great concern and sadness. Russia says the images are staged. But Ukraine and its Western allies accuse Russia of being behind such atrocities in Ukraine, with the US President once again calling the Russian President a war criminal that should be tried. But what about US and its ally’s atrocities committed in Afghanistan, Syria, or Iraq: can those be dismissed just as collateral damage?
