The US dollar has been regarded as the worlds number one currency, but it is being challenged like no other time in history.
Not only is there a possibility of a new financial system that is being formed, more and more countries are opting to do their bilateral trade in their own currencies. One country, Brazil, is even considering forming a regional currency to break away from the dollar dependency.
