Spotlight - BRICS ALLIANCE

Beijing is hosting the meeting of the influential club of BRICS emerging economies. Accounting for more than 40 percent of the global population and nearly a quarter of the world's gross domestic product, this alliance has another thing in common: a couple of its members have been targeted by US sanctions. In this edition of the Spotlight, we will look at whether the US and the West's hostile approach and policies against some of the BRICS member countries like Russia and China will backfire on them amidst the Ukraine war.
