The Taliban officials announced a nationwide ban on university education for women in Afghanistan last week, sparking international condemnation and outcry. In another controversial move, Taliban on Saturday ordered all local and international non-governmental organizations (NGOs) to stop their female employees from coming to work which UN has called “a clear breach of humanitarian principles.”
