China says Sino-Russia relations are a matter of sovereignty of two independent countries, dismissing Washington’s accusations of providing arms to Moscow.
The spokesman added that Beijing’s comprehensive collaborative partnership with Moscow is based on the principles of non-confrontation and not targeting third parties. This came after the U-S accused China of planning to send lethal weapons to Russia for the war in Ukraine and warned against it. Washington said any weapons delivery will seriously damage relations with Beijing. The warning comes as the US has been the largest provider of weapons to Ukraine in its war with Russia.
