Iran’s president has issued a stern warning to authorities in Afghanistan over the share of water from the Hirmand River, asking Kabul to give the people of Sistan and Baluchistan their rights. Ebrahim Raeisi said Iran would not allow the rights of its people violated unless experts confirm the lack of water in the Hirmand River flowing between the two countries.
