In Turkey, people are heading back to the polls in a presidential run-off that pits incumbent Recep Tayyip Erdogan against opposition leader, Kemal Kilicdaroglu.

Some 64 million people are eligible to elect the president for the next five years. Erdogan is seen as a favorite to extend his two decades of rule. He secured over 49-point-5 percent of the votes in the first round, narrowly missing out on an outright victory. Kilicdaroglu came second with less than 45 percent of the votes. Erdogan has also secured the endorsement of the third-placed candidate, Sinan Ogan. Key election issues are the economy, earthquake-relief operations and refugees.
