Hajj rituals have officially begun with over 2 million Muslims including 87 thousand Iranians gathering on the plain of Arafat near the Holy city of Mecca. Leader of Iran's Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, has addressed a message to the pilgrims as they take part in the renunciation of the polytheists' ceremony, an integral part of the pilgrimage.
