The Seoul Defense Dialogue convened military leaders from around the world this week. President Yoon Suk-yeol's moves to integrate South Korea into NATO and gather support for his aggressive stance toward the Democratic People's Republic of Korea has faced significant opposition from many South Koreans. There is also widespread disagreement with the expansion of the UN Command to include Germany, with critics blaming the U-S and its allies for stirring up tensions on the Korean Peninsula.
