A ceremony honoring Iranian war veterans and those who were active on and off the battle front during eight years of the Iraqi-imposed war in the 1980s was held on Wednesday in the presence of the Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei in Tehran.
