Some 200-thousand Gazans are left facing water and food shortages as the Israeli forces besiege Gaza’s northern city of Jabalia for the seventh consecutive day.
According to the Palestinian Civil Defense, the regime has exacerbated the situation by denying civil defense personnel access to the fuel and medical supplies needed to operate effectively. The organization also called on the international community to help alleviate the suffering and restore access to essential resources. Meanwhile, a report by The World Food Program has blamed Israeli military operations and evacuation orders for shutting down the food distribution locations across the northern Gaza. The non-profit organization says these military actions have had a “catastrophic impact” on food security, affecting thousands of Palestinian families.
