Pakistan observes 'Black Day' to protest India’s administration of Kashmir

PressTV 6 views

As in previous years, people from Pakistan and Kashmir took to the streets on October 27 to mark 'Black Day.' Pakistan regards this day as the anniversary of India’s defiance of the British partition plan in 1947, which led to India's control over the Jammu and Kashmir regions. The day was marked with rallies, protests and seminars to express solidarity with the Kashmiri people and their continued struggle for self-determination under Indian control.
