Canadian Police have carried out a violent raid on the Vancouver home of prominent pro-Palestinian activist, Charlotte Kates.
Police arrived at the location in an armored vehicle and full tactical gear. Witnesses say a stun grenade was used during the raid and windows of the home were broken. The police took her into custody but she was later released. The Canada Palestine Association has strongly condemned the excessive police brutality. Kates is a director of the Samidoun Palestinian Prisoner Solidarity Network. The network has been blacklisted in Canada and the U-S. Kates was also previously detained and charged with "hate speech" offenses in May. She has featured extensively on international media, including Press TV.
