Iran has once again reiterated its support for Syria as terror groups conduct new operations in the Arab country.
Iran’s foreign minister made the remarks during a phone call with his Syrian counterpart Bassam Sabbagh. Abbas Araghchi said the resurgence of terrorist groups in Syria is a U-S-Israeli plan following the Tel Aviv regime’s defeat in Lebanon and Palestine. He said Tehran will continue supporting the Syrian government, nation and army to fight terrorism and protect regional security and stability. For his part, Bassam Sabbagh said the Syrian government and people are standing against the terrorist groups with all their strength. The top diplomat said they will fail to achieve their evil intentions.
