Protesters in Tel Aviv demand captives deal

PressTV 8 views

Israel’s security forces have clashed with protesters demanding the regime to secure a deal with Hamas that would see the release of Israeli captives held in Gaza.
In Tel Aviv, thousands of protesters took to the streets, urging the regime’s Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to reach a deal with the Palestinian resistance movement. They said Netanyahu does NOT care about the return of the captives. A similar protest was also held in the occupied city of al-Quds, where the regime’s forces attacked protesters and arrested a number of them. These weekly protests have been ongoing for a year now, with demonstrators accusing Netanyahu of deliberately avoiding a deal and prolonging the war on Gaza so that he could remain in power. Over one hundred captives are still held in Gaza, around half of them are believed to be still alive.
