Israeli settlers take to streets demanding Gaza truce

PressTV 13 views

Settlers in the Israeli-occupied territories have once again taken to the streets, calling for an immediate Gaza ceasefire deal and the return of captives held there.
The demonstrators in Tel Aviv protested against Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s cabinet and its handling of the conflict in Gaza. The regime’s police scuffled with the protesters, especially in Al-Quds, pushing some people to the ground. These weekly protests have been ongoing for a year now, with demonstrators accusing Netanyahu of deliberately avoiding a deal and prolonging the war on Gaza so that he could remain in power. Over one hundred captives are still held in Gaza, and around half of them are believed to be still alive.
