The Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei says the reason for enemy’s hostility towards Iran is its determination to be an independent and Islamic state with its own identity.
He made the remark in a meeting with the commanders of Iran’s Armed Forces on the occasion of the New Iranian Year. The Leader underlined that enemies are furious at the advances made by the Islamic establishment over the past decades. Ayatollah Khamenei slammed the world arrogance for arming itself with the most advanced and lethal weapons, while preventing other countries from obtaining their needed defense capabilities. He also called for maximum preparedness of the country’s Armed Forces to defend the nation against any aggression.
