Palestinian school year amid violence, arrests, and settler incitement

As schools across Palestine opened their doors on September 8th, the new academic year was clouded by fear and uncertainty. For hundreds of thousands of Palestinian children, classrooms are not safe havens but spaces under constant threat-whether from settler violence, military checkpoints, or demolition orders. Israeli lawmaker Tzvi Skut even went so far as to incite the demolition of a school in al-Sawiya, claiming it endangered settlers’ security. Our correspondent Naqaa Hamed reports from the occupied West Bank.
