EU leaders have agreed that COVID-19, climate change, trade and security should take center stage as the bloc is moving to rebuild relations with the United States. These ties were badly damaged under the presidency of Donald Trump. Brussels and Washington will also attempt to preserve the Iran nuclear deal now that Joe Biden has taken office.
