Four UN agencies have warned that at least four-hundred thousand Yemeni children under FIVE could starve to death this year amid the Saudi-led aggression and the coronavirus pandemic. The warning came from the World Food Program, the Food and Agriculture Organization, UNICEF and the World Health Organization. The agencies projected that the number of children under five suffering from severe acute malnutrition would rise by 22-percent this year compared to 2020. Around 1-point-2 million pregnant or breastfeeding women are also estimated to be acutely malnourished this year. The U-N says Yemen is grappling with the world's worst humanitarian crisis. It has warned that Yemen is in imminent danger of the worst famine the world has witnessed in decades. The impoverished country has been suffering from a Saudi-led war and blockade since 2015.
