The leader of Iran’s Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei says the United States is inverting the truth by claiming to support human rights while backing those who violate them.
Ayatollah Khamenei said Saudi Arabia has been bombing Yemen for six years and the UN and the US have been silent toward its crimes. However, he said Washington and the United Nations are prompt enough to condemn Yemenis when they launch retaliatory attacks against Riyadh. Iran’s leader also slammed the US for building military bases in the region under the pretext of fighting terrorism.
