The Yemeni army has launched a retaliatory strike against an Aramco oil facility in the Saudi capital, Riyadh.
The spokesman for the Yemeni Armed Forces said 6 combat drones hit their targets with high precision. Brigadier General Yahya Saree added that the retaliatory strikes will continue and escalate as long as Saudi Arabia carries on with its aggression against Yemen. Saudi Arabia also confirmed the attack on its oil refinery in Riyadh, saying it caused a fire. The kingdom and some of its Arab allies launched a deadly war and blockade on Yemen in 20-15 with the aim of reinstalling a friendly regime there. The coalition has so far failed to achieve its objective but the conflict has claimed tens of thousands of lives and created the world's worst humanitarian crisis in Yemen.
