The Latin American country which has the highest daily death toll in the world has so far recorded more than 330,000 fatalities. Coronavirus cases in Brazil also rose by over 43,000 bringing the total to nearly 13 million. Brazil remains the world’s second worst-hit country by the pandemic in terms of deaths and infections, after the United States.
