The Israeli prime minister says airstrikes against the Gaza Strip are just the beginning despite the regime’s three days of the deadly assault on the besieged enclave.
Benjamin Netanyahu also vowed that Israel will deliver the Palestinian Strip blows it had not dreamt of. Israel's Minister of Military Affairs Benny Gantz also pledged more attacks on Gaza to bring what he called total, long-term quiet before any truce. The Israeli military says it has pounded five hundred targets there. According to the Gaza health ministry, 56 people, including 14 children and five women, have been killed since Monday. The Palestinian resistance movement Hamas says several of its top commanders were among those killed on Wednesday. Hamas has retaliated by firing hundreds of rockets toward Israeli cities, including Tel Aviv.
