This day is the anniversary of a special event, which took place almost 1400 years ago and yet is still so significant today. It took place at a location called Ghadir Khum, outside of Mecca. This, after Islam's Prophet Muhammad's last Hajj, all the pilgrims were leaving Mecca to return to their homes. We will be talking about this event on this Spotlight and why this day is celebrated as a special holiday, Eid ul Ghadir by so many Muslims.
