The Yemeni army and its allied Ansarullah forces have made remarkable advances in key areas between the country's three strategic provinces.
Sources say the Yemeni forces have made gains in Sana'a, Shabwa, and Ma'rib provinces. They have managed to take control of the last stronghold of militants backed by the Saudi-led coalition, in the south of Ma'rib province. Local sources say the Yemeni armed forces also launched a massive offensive toward the coalition’s bases in the southern province of Bayda, taking control of several strategic points there. The Yemeni army has recently intensified its retaliatory attacks against the Saudi-led coalition, reportedly inching closer to the entrance of Ma’rib.
