Palestine slams settlement building in al-Khalil,

The Palestinian Authority has condemned Israel for approving the construction of 372 new settler units in the occupied West Bank. The Palestinian Foreign Ministry says the plan is provocative and is an extension of the Israeli process of expanding settlements in al-Khalil, also known as Hebron. The new project includes houses, commercial buildings, and educational institutions. Israel has built thousands of settlements on occupied Palestinian land over the past years as part of its land grab policy. All Israeli settlements on the occupied Palestinian land are illegal under international law.
