Iran’s president reiterates Tehran’s support for peace and security in the Persian Gulf region

Iran’s president has reiterated his country’s support for peace and security in the Persian Gulf region. Ebrahim Raeisi said Israel is pursuing its sinister goals in the region and turning every foothold into a tool for expansionism. He made the remarks at a meeting with the visiting UAE national security adviser. Raeisi said friendly relations with neighboring countries are Iran’s priority in its foreign policy. He stressed that nothing should hinder boosting cooperation among regional countries. The Iranian president insisted that bilateral relations in the region must not be influenced by outside powers. The U-A-E’s Sheikh Tahnoon bin Zayed Al Nahyan hailed the meetings as a turning point in the ties between the two countries. He said that his country is ready to expand bilateral cooperation with Iran.
