Unidentified gunmen have opened fire on civilians and security forces in Iran’s southwestern province of Khuzestan, leaving several people, including a child and an elderly woman, dead. Reports say the attack in the city of Izeh also left a number of people injured. The terrorist attacks come as the country has recently been hit by foreign-backed riots.
