The Palestinian resistance movement, Hamas, has confirmed the martyrdom of its leader, Yahya Sinwar, in an Israeli attack in the Gaza Strip.
Hayya said Sinwar’s martyrdom will further strengthen the resistance, which is rooted in the Palestinian people. He said Hamas will continue its path until the establishment of an independent Palestinian state with the occupied al-Quds as its capital. Hayya said there would be no change in Hamas’s stance in the Gaza ceasefire negotiations. He vowed the Israeli captives would not be released until the Israeli aggression against Gaza stops, the regime withdraws its forces from the strip and Palestinian prisoners return home.
